Another example where the client had a 3rd party do the design of the site. The designer was took his design from what he previously made for the client for print work. They wanted to keep the design pixel perfect. The designer was very happy to see it look exactly like the photoshop files he sent.

TalonDigital was brought on to do some minor updates to this site. Prices had changed and no one had the time or knew how to update the site, so they asked us to help. After a few minor updates, they asked if we could start to add new products. Starting with 4-5 products and expanding to over 30 products. The site has gone through a huge visual change as well as a back end restructering. This site is a work in progress and changes regularly. The site currently uses Paypal’s basic shopping cart system but will eventaully be upgraded to a full shopping cart.

This was an interesting website. In the interest of saving money the client designed the whole thing in Word and took screenshots of what he wanted the site to look like. Not just a general idea, he wanted it to look exactly like this, pixel for pixel. It was easier then I thought it would be. I eventually recreated the whole design in Photoshop, pixel for pixel and coded from there. The java uploader is module.
